In the organizer's words:

From 2025 to 2030, Museum Island will be celebrating its 200th anniversary - a very special anniversary! During this one-hour tour in the fresh air, cultural mediators provide a brief overview of the anniversary, the history of the building and the city and the architectural highlights of the Museum Island. The tour always focuses on the museum that forms the centerpiece of the respective anniversary year: This will initially be the Altes Museum in 2025 and the Alte Nationalgalerie in 2026.

The tour takes place exclusively outdoors - perfect for getting to know the Museum Island from new perspectives. A visit to the individual museums is not part of the program.
