The multimedia show Gacha Mania follows the internal struggle of a videogame sound design team obsessed with creating the perfect loot box opening sound. Through music, theater, video and gaming, the piece narrates a tragicomic portrait of digital capitalism, exposing how hidden gambling logics gamify perception, desire and behavior in everyday life.
A new work created together by Composer-Performer Bernat Pont Anglada and the Berlin-based Kollektiv UNRUHE. Created as part of the JUNGE AKADEMIE, Akademie der Künste, with kind support from the Deutsche Orchester-Stiftung.

The multimedia show Gacha Mania follows the inner struggle of a team of video game sound designers obsessed with creating the perfect opening jingle for a lootbox. Using music, theater, video and gaming, the piece paints a tragicomic portrait of digital capitalism and shows how hidden gambling mechanisms playfully influence perception, desire and behavior in everyday life.
A new work created in collaboration between the composer and performer Bernat Pont Anglada and the Berlin collective UNRUHE. Produced as part of the JUNGE AKADEMIE, Akademie der Künste, with the kind support of the Deutsche Orchester-Stiftung.
