Gieß dich glücklich! Keramik gießen & gestalten ‍

In the organizer's words:

In this workshop, you will create your own ceramic objects from quick-drying casting slip - step by step and without any previous knowledge.

Whether it's a bowl, tea light, small vessel or decorative object - you decide what you want to create.

You will be guided by Bernadette Terbrack from Badetta's creative workshop. With a wealth of experience in working with molds, materials and surfaces, she will guide you safely through the entire process.

While we are casting, waiting, stripping and shaping, something bonding is created along the way: Exchange, inspiration and that calm togetherness that often supports creative processes.

After casting, we leave the molds to dry briefly. As soon as the mass is firm enough, the objects are stripped and then individually finished - with paint, patterns or napkin technique. Each piece develops its own character, and yet we work together in space.

You will learn
how to pour cleanly,
what is important when drying
and how to give your objects a harmonious surface.

The process is clearly structured and at the same time open - with room for questions, exchange and mutual inspiration.

In the open studio atmosphere of the Werkhalle, we work in a concentrated and collaborative way: everyone creates something of their own, and yet a creative dialog develops in the room.

At the end, you will take your self-designed ceramic pieces home with you - handmade, individual and combined with an evening together.

Who is it for?
For adults - beginners welcome.
All you need is a desire for material, form and a creative evening in an inspiring community.

Materials
All materials are included in the price: Casting clay, molds, paints and tools.

Good to know
Water and tea are provided, as well as small snacks for in between. Please bring your own work clothes, we provide aprons on site.

The price includes VAT.
