Layer by layer to your own visual language

Would you like to experiment with color, let pictures grow and find out how your own visual language develops? In this course, you will work with acrylic paint and glazing techniques and discover how a picture can unfold step by step - layer by layer.

You will learn how to use transparent and opaque colors, consciously control transitions and make pictorial decisions step by step. It's not about the quick result, but about the process: motifs can change, be painted over, take new directions or be created from scratch.

The course invites you to work at a slower pace, to observe your own steps and to develop confidence in the painting process in an appreciative community and creative atmosphere. You will receive professional impulses, individual guidance and space for exchange and reflection - without pressure to perform, but with a clear artistic focus.

You will be accompanied by Hannah Greis, contemporary artist and painter.

You will discover new painting possibilities, learn to make conscious pictorial decisions step by step and develop confidence and patience in working in layers. You will go home with finished works and with new impulses for your own further work.

Who is it for?
For everyone aged 16 and over. The course is suitable for beginners with some painting experience as well as for advanced students who want to further develop their technique and image finding.

Materials
All basic materials are included in the price: Acrylic paints, glazing media, tools and painting surfaces. Special requests can be added by arrangement.

Good to know
Water and tea are provided during the course, as well as small snacks for in between.
