C/O Berlin presents the first major retrospective of Graciela Iturbide's (*1942, Mexico) work in Berlin. Developed in close collaboration with the artist, the exhibition brings together iconic series and rarely shown photographs and provides a deep insight into an oeuvre that has shaped the image of Mexico and its people for over five decades. Iturbide's work explores the often intimate relationships between identity, ritual and society.
