Grafische Notation - Musik kreativ aufschreiben

In the organizer's words:

There are other, freer ways of inventing, memorizing or communicating music besides traditional notation. Wikipedia writes: "It has been used since the 20th century in experimental and avant-garde music, where traditional notation is not sufficient to convey the content and spontaneity of a musical idea."

We will experiment with it in a practical and playful way and reflect on this in this seminar. We will compose spontaneously and in a planned way and write down our ideas. We consider and try out which musical sounds and processes can best be written down in order to convey them to others to play and also to remember them well ourselves. At the end of each section, we play the music we have just invented together. We record it and then listen to it together.
