From October 23-26, the GRASSIMESSE will once again be a meeting place for modernity: 140 artisans and designers from all over the world will present jewelry, ceramics, glass, textiles, fashion, wood, metal and paper works - from unique pieces to small series.

For three days, the fair invites design enthusiasts and friends of beautiful things to look, exchange ideas and purchase high-quality handicrafts and design. The spectrum ranges from masterpieces by renowned artists to discoveries by newcomers.

The traditional GRASSIMESSE brings contemporary design and the museum's historical collection into a fascinating dialog. When contemporary works are presented in front of historical museum objects in the permanent exhibition ANTIQUE TO HISTORISM, an inspiring and exciting space is created that opens up new perspectives.

Every year, the GRASSIMESSE reflects the world of ideas and diversity of contemporary applied art and design. It promotes artistic developments and raises awareness of design quality. The fair is in the tradition of the historic Grassimessen, which was founded in 1920 and became famous as the "meeting place of modernity". It was an alternative to the commercial mass-produced goods offered at the sample fairs. The GRASSIMESSE is one of the oldest art fairs in the world.
