Großes Kind – Gedichte nach Aleksandr Ratner

On February 24, 2022, Russia starts a war against Ukraine and Aleksandr Ratner writes and publishes a variation on Yevtushenko's Do you think the Russians want war? As a result, a new poem by Aleksandr appears on Facebook almost every day. He continues to write his verses in Russian, because language is not to blame, as he says in a later poem. During her work as a speech therapist and her work as a volunteer at Berlin Central Station, where she supports refugees from Ukraine, Kerstin is accompanied by Aleksandr's poems, which she translates for Frank, and this forms the basis for his poems. He subsequently set some of them to music. Kerstin Hommel and Frank Viehweg present the book GROSSES KIND, published by Wiljo Heinen, on this evening with songs and poems. Добра и мира! Мир Украïнi!
