This compact course is a ceramic treat - an opportunity that really doesn't come along every day: Have you always wanted to work with an internationally renowned master ceramist in his private workshop? Design large objects or vessels and refine them into unique ceramics using a unique firing process? Ceramist Martin McWilliam makes it possible! You can create ceramics from clay slabs or using the build-up technique, which are then fired in a Japanese wood-fired kiln, a Noborigama.
To prepare for the course, it is recommended that you have already thought about the sculpture you would like to create. You are also welcome to make large sketches from different angles. This preparatory work will make it easier for you to get started with your creative work.
