The DISTEL review of the year 2025

When, if not now! That's the motto of this year's DISTEL cabaret review, which will once again grace the stages of the republic after its brilliant start last year.

And what kind of year was 2025? First, the campaigners' fingers froze to their party pens during the early general election in February and shortly afterwards Donald Trump put himself in the "right" light. After all, anyone who sets everything around them on fire is naturally in the light. Now someone would just have to explain to him the difference between slash-and-burn and enlightenment.

2025 was the year in which many certainties vanished into thin air and the world changed in a breathtaking staccato. But the DISTEL ensemble with Jens Neutag, Axel Pätz and Katharina Martin manages the almost impossible: they manage to pack all the political twists and turns and the madness of everyday life into a fast-paced cabaret program of 2x50 minutes. Always under the motto: When, if not now!

"Gut im Abgang" is entertaining, musical and, if need be, opinionated. And by the way, the ensemble keeps a promise: This review of the year is definitely better than the year itself!
