Hazlett

In the organizer's words:

After years of playing concerts in bars in his native Australia, Hazlett not only found new perspectives in Stockholm, but also his musical identity. His own blend of "indie ballroom folk" first crystallized through a chance encounter one Swedish summer: there he met his now close friend and creative collaborator Freddy Alexander - a collaboration that changed everything. What was originally only intended as a way to "sort a few things out in my head..." has now become a whole world of music and fine emotional details to drift through. This was underlined by the release of his debut album Bloom Mountain in early 2023.

Hazlett's ability to create something thoughtful and touching out of emotional chaos has not gone unnoticed. The Line of Best Fit wrote that he offered "a hazy, texturally rich version of the classic singer-songwriter".

Even if the emotional turbulence never completely disappears, Hazlett now radiates a new, quiet confidence and is coming back to Germany for his own concerts in November.
