In this unique event, high-quality Japanese Hojicha meets selected chocolates. A delightful experience for anyone who wants to consciously discover tea and chocolate and is looking for an exciting new alternative to matcha.

This event is a special collaboration with Giusi, a tea connoisseur who will share her passion and extensive knowledge of tea with you. Inspired by her travels to Paris, Amsterdam and London, where she got to know Japanese cafés and modern tea concepts, Giusi brings current trends and contemporary interpretations of tea culture to this format.

In a relaxed atmosphere, Giusi and I will take you on a deep dive into the world of hojicha. At the beginning, Giusi will give you an introduction to the world of Hojicha. You will learn what makes this tea special, how to prepare Hojicha correctly and what influence different roasts have on the taste and aroma.

Giusi will then prepare the hojicha for you in the traditional way using a Japanese bamboo whisk (chasen). In the next step, we combine the Hojicha with selected, high-quality chocolates from all over the world. We will show you specific tasting and pairing techniques and the order in which tea and chocolate are tasted.

Finally, a particularly refreshing highlight awaits you: a creamy Iced Hojicha Cocoa Latte, developed by Giusi and served exclusively in this workshop.
