Hooked on a Book – eine Expedition

In the organizer's words:

A book can be captivating, uplifting and delightful. Director Helgard Haug turns it into a stage: two people, unknown to each other, sit together in silence and open it together. In pictures and words, the book poses questions, directs the gaze, guides thoughts and encourages an exchange about life and the world on a large and small scale, about the differences and what connects them, about being alone and being together. Page by page, it connects the two people and makes them the main characters of an expedition. "Hooked on a Book" is a completely analog and yet interactive piece between two strangers. It works without spectators and can take place in any corner of the world: in a metropolis, a small town, a hermit's farm - or, as now, in the Mousonturm Bistro, in the Stern.
