Hoppla, wir sterben!

In the play "Hoppla, wir sterben - Rheinmetall eine deutsche Geschichte" (Oops, we're dying - a German story), the acting ensemble of the Schnellen Kulturelle Eingreiftruppe (S.K.E.T.) takes the audience into the salad of the past decades and tells us the story of one of the most unpleasant companies: Rheinmetall, one of the largest arms exporters in the world. War and capitalism: a closely linked tragedy. Ernst Toller put it like this 100 years ago, shortly after the First World War and the lost revolution of 1918: "Oops, we're alive!" Now that nuclear weapons have been built and were supposed to disappear back into the cupboard at the end of the last century, we are singing back: "Oops, we're dying!"
