So the deputy editor-in-chief of the "Grevenbroicher Tagblatt" goes on a big journey with an even bigger goal: he wants to bring back people's smiles! But how do you become happy? Difficult times call for clear answers - and because you can't find them in Grevenbroich, Horst Schlämmer embarks on the journey of his life: from southern Germany to Sylt, from Berlin to Büsum - by hitchhiking, shrimp boat or rail replacement service. He meets passers-by, celebrities and psychologists, asks tough questions and, despite many setbacks, never loses sight of his mission: to make people happy again!
