What initially looks like a variation on FRIEDHOF DER KUSCHELTIERE takes a completely different direction at some point, one that you are guaranteed not to see coming - and turns out to be an extremely clever mystery plot that deals with big questions about fate and self-determination. In addition to the dense, menacing atmosphere, the film scores with impressive performances from Jessica Rothe (HAPPY DEATHDAY) and Charlie Barnett (MATRYOSHKA).
