With the project RAUM:FALTEN, the intermedia duo INTER_SECTION (Sabine Ercklentz & Claudia Schmitz) aims to challenge the everyday understanding of space as a delimited and limiting unit.
To this end, the duo will fold various spaces - sonic and visual, everyday and artificial, analog and digital - into one another in a performance and reform them again and again as the performance progresses.
They use multi-channel sound and projections for this. The concrete performance space is expanded and superimposed - "spatial folds" are created in which the boundaries of disciplines become blurred and everyday and imaginary boundaries are countered with a poetic utopia of possibilities.
