Getting to know each other: Muslim and women's movement women

with Halime Cengiz, Maren Bock and other Muslim and non-Muslim women from different parts of the city

Muslim and women's movement women from Bremen have been meeting since 2007. We have all grown very fond of this exchange. Our interest and curiosity for each other has grown even more.

In April, we will be talking about the ageing of women.
What does ageing mean to each of us? Do we tend to talk about it in private or in public? Does the issue of shame play a role and if so, how can we overcome it? Why do some women have no problems with ageing, neither physically nor mentally? How can we see our life experience as an opportunity for more serenity and inner peace?
What influence do our environment, the public and the media have on our self-esteem as older women? Are there cultural differences in the way we deal with ageing and if so, how?
We look forward to a lively exchange.
