What happens to writing when the place of residence and familiar surroundings are suddenly no longer accessible?

Taqi Akhlaqi, Alhierd Bacharevič and Stella Nyanzi had to go into exile for political reasons. They talk about their experiences in their search for stability and how they deal with longing and loss in literature. What challenges and opportunities does life in a foreign country bring for their creative work?
