IRISH ROCK LEGENDS

It marks the great musical revolution in Ireland in the late 60s, 70s and 80s and the emergence of a new sound. A new generation of electric guitarists inspired countless musicians and paved the way for their successors.

It symbolizes a time when Ireland rocked the world, celebrating the songs of these legendary Irish rock bands and artists and their unique musical footprint that has left its mark worldwide. The music resonated significantly, inspiring the youth of Ireland and inspiring future generations of musicians.

The show, which takes place on October 25, 2026 at the Ampere in Munich, focuses on this golden era, paying homage to the bands, musicians and songs from the "Irish Rock Legends" era.

Songs by Rory Gallagher, Gary Moore, Thin Lizzy, U2, Horslips, Mama's Boys, Van Morrison, Stiff Little Fingers, The Undertones, The Boomtown Rats and many more will be presented!

The virtuoso guitarist and fiddler Pat McManus, former member of Mama's Boys, is one of the last living true rock guitarists and legendary traditional musicians in Ireland. He has toured with Thin Lizzy, Black Sabbath and Rory Gallagher, among others, and thrills audiences with his rousing guitar performance and energetic stage presence.

Cormac Nesson, the lead singer of the Northern Irish rock band The Answer, is also part of the show. With an impressive career that includes tours with AC/DC and the Rolling Stones, he has earned a reputation as a great singer and fascinating performer.

They are accompanied by a band made up of some of Ireland's finest musicians: Brendan Reaburn, Chris Carrney and Jimmy Brennan.

Children under the age of 6 are not admitted to the event, children between the ages of 6 and (under) 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. From the age of 14, the event may also be attended alone without a parent or guardian.
