Jerk & Jollof: People + Faces

BERLIN -  it’s time to run it back! You’re next on The Jerk X Jollof Euro Tour with their Places + Faces family! On August 10th they're taking over MAAYA with Freak De L’Afrique!

Jerk X Jollof is a Detroit-based, worldwide diaspora experience that brings Afro-Caribbean culture to the dancefloor. Founded by first-gen creatives, it blends Caribbean (Jerk) and West African (Jollof) influences to create a space where both worlds unite in joy, pride, and bass-heavy rhythm.

Places + Faces began in 2013 as a photo blog capturing intimate moments of artists and creatives. It evolved into a global lifestyle brand rooted in street culture, fashion, and nightlife.

Freak de l’Afrique is a Berlin collective pushing the boundaries of African club culture with genre-crossing DJ sets, live performances, and dance shows. Rooted in Afrobeats, Amapiano, and African popular music.
