When it comes to blues in Germany, there's no getting around Bad Temper Joe. The grumpy blues bard from the East Westphalian province has become an absolutely exceptional phenomenon on the blues scene in recent years.

Eric Koslosky is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist and bassist who was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His family moved to Franklin, Tennessee in 1993, where he lived until 2021. Known for his soulful voice, expressive musicianship and dynamic stage presence, Eric has earned a reputation as a versatile artist whose work combines elements of Americana, roots, blues and improvisational music.
From 2008, Eric was the lead singer of the energetic Nashville band Deep Fried 5. The group became known for their funky grooves, infectious live performances and eclectic mix of rock, soul and jam-oriented improvisation. During his time with the band, Eric continued to develop his skills as both a frontman and multi-instrumentalist, contributing to the band's success as vocalist, guitarist, bassist and songwriter.
In 2019, Eric was invited to Germany by fellow singer-songwriter Steve Savage to record an album and tour Europe. What began as a musical collaboration soon turned into a life-changing chapter.
Much of Eric's songwriting was shaped by life on the road and in the air as he flew back and forth between Europe and the United States. While traveling, he often had little room for more than a single acoustic guitar, and this instrument became the natural foundation for many of his songs. As a result, his solo performances are characterized by a stripped-down authenticity that draws on Americana, roots and blues traditions while leaving ample room for spontaneity and musical discovery.
