For the monthly series "KineKiez", four Berlin cinemas alternately select films from the archive of the Deutsche Kinemathek. In July, the Kinemathek will be a guest at the Bundesplatz-Kino in Wilmersdorf.

In an old Berlin apartment building that is about to be demolished, people from different generations live together - with the aim of putting the motto "Love life, live love" into practice. The house community reflects the social conditions in West Berlin in the late 1970s. Brigitte Mira is convincing as the janitor, who regains her zest for life after a stroke of fate.
