Kitty, Daisy and Lewis take their audience on a journey into the past. The warm retro sound of the London siblings captures that certain something of great music legends such as Louis Armstrong, Nina Simone, Ray Charles and Rufus Thomas. With a mix of swing, blues, country, bluegrass and rock'n'roll, they skillfully alternate between the decades.

In addition to sound and aesthetics, the trio also creates a true time capsule on the production level. The group's debut album, released in 2008, was recorded on vintage equipment from a bygone era - just like all its successors. Later, Lewis Durham even built his own studio for it, which looks confusingly similar to a museum. The siblings have been recording their albums, as well as the music of many other artists, on the premises since 2011.

This is another reason why fans have often had to be patient in recent years. Although Kitty, David and Lewis tour the globe almost every year, they have waited in vain for years for new music. Now the wait is finally coming to an end: after a nine-year break, a new, as yet untitled album will be released in 2026
