PARANORMA
Alexandre Kordzaia, known professionally as Kordz, is a Georgian electronic music producer, composer, and performer born in Tbilisi in 1994. Raised between Georgia and Switzerland in a musical family, he developed an early passion for both classical and contemporary music.
The KIOSK ensemble moves between genre boundaries as well as between composed and improvised music, focusing, among other things, on collaborative work with musicians from non-academic backgrounds. In the first set, the ensemble performs music by Ryuchi Sakamoto, Anushka Chkheidze, Nika Machaidze, Russudan Meipariani, and others, as well as their new composition "Family Love" with Alexandre Kordzaia aka Kordz.
PARANORMA Everywhere, cuts are being made in culture. The demand for free performance opportunities is growing, while at the same time, more and more creative spaces in Berlin are disappearing. PARANORMA aims to counteract this by providing the stage at Ballhaus Prinzenallee free of charge every Wednesday for artists and collectives, so that productions that absolutely need to be seen can be showcased.
