In our weekly painting courses, children playfully discover their own artistic expression. Together we immerse ourselves in the colorful world of art: we experiment with different materials and techniques, practice using different colors such as gouache, watercolor or pastels, discover collage, printing techniques and more.
Our course program follows a recurring curriculum of 12 themes (see below). These painting themes are adapted to the child's development - in principle a "spiral" of artistic growth. Each theme is combined with
a) a type of paint (e.g. gouache, acrylic, pastel chalk, ...)
b) a technique (e.g. collage, print, color mixing, dabbing, ...)
c) a picture "source": Do we paint pictures based on real models, do we follow our imagination, or do we seek inspiration from works by other artists? (We then look at paintings by well-known artists, e.g. Monet, Hilma af Klimt, van Gogh, Gabriele Münter, ...)
This flexible yet systematic course structure allows the children to drop in and out or, of course, to come regularly and learn something new each time.
The course is led by Alice Bischof, art teacher and freelance artist.
"In my work, I provide a safe framework and at the same time create a lot of freedom so that children can find their own creative expression and try out new techniques. Each child is guided individually. I take the children's learning wishes on board and use them to develop ideas for the whole group."
In this way, the course develops with the children. This results in varied, inspiring units that encourage creativity and, above all, are fun.
To ensure a personal atmosphere, the group size is limited to a maximum of seven children.
If you and your child enjoy the free trial lesson, you can either purchase a 10-lesson card (€190) or take part on a monthly basis (€65).
