Creative workshop Flowerbar

GRÄSERLINIE: Flower bar, drilling and botanical drawing. Turning grasses into an object

You create a holder for selected summer grasses. Each participant receives a unique piece of wood with patina, already sawn to size (approx. 15-20 x 3-5 cm), but different in shape, grain and character. You draw your individual hole pattern and drill approx. 5-10 holes with a drill press in the places that make sense for your piece of wood.

You then choose dried grasses and flowers, which we provide to arrange in your strip.

As an accompaniment, you can optionally create a sketched pencil drawing of dried or fresh wildflowers and grasses on high-quality drawing paper.

Procedure

• Introduction
• Design hole pattern
• Drilling phase and sanding edges (participants take turns in the workroom)
• Select and pin grasses, possibly photograph composition, modify
• Create a botanical drawing in parallel
• In addition to your new flower bar and perhaps your drawing, take your selection of dried grasses and fresh wildflowers and grasses with you

From 7.5.-27.6.26, for two summer months, we will have a pop-up store and workspace with our furniture and design label JUNIJULI in a small store in the seasonal store at Körnerstrasse 46 in Cologne-Ehrenfeld. In the store you can buy our design objects and we invite you to creative workshops with us on two Saturdays!

Our workshops are both a meeting place and a design space. We invite you to be creative in a prepared space, create something of your own and take a piece of nature home with you at the end.

• Small group, maximum 6 people
• Group requests are possible. For fixed groups, more places may be possible by arrangement.
• All materials included, tea or cold drinks on site. During the break you have the opportunity to get a coffee from our neighbors, wonderful coffee roasters on Körnerstraße, in cups that we will give you for this purpose.
• Workshops take place with a minimum of 5 participants. Bookings can be made up to 3 days in advance and can be canceled within 7 days before the day of the course. After that, the participant can provide another person to take their place.
