Kreativseminar: Einstieg in die Schmiedekunst, Kreativseminar für Erwachsene und Jugendliche ab 16 Jahren

Working iron is a craft that began around 2800 years ago at the start of the Iron Age. To this day, forging works according to the same basic principle as back then: forge the iron while it is still hot! However, the techniques have constantly evolved and reached their peak in the Middle Ages.
After a short tour of the permanent exhibition, in which the historical and archaeological development of the art of blacksmithing is explained, it's time to get to the fire. Under expert guidance, the participants
participants make objects that were part of everyday life in the Middle Ages. Whether or not other objects are made depends on the skills of the individual participants.

Price information:

120 euros per person, including materials, plus museum admission for all participants aged 18 and over. Adults therefore pay an additional 7.00 euros, adults in groups of 16 or more pay 6.00 euros, those entitled to a discount* pay 3.50 euros. Children and young people up to the age of 17 have Free admission. Admission tickets are available in the museum's ticket store (see link). Participation in "Studieren im Alter", "Seniorenstudium" or similar programs does not entitle you to a discount.
