What happens when the most secure bond in the world is insecure, overwhelming or even destructive? In her autobiographical book " Good that you are no longer there", which she wrote together with journalist Nina Faecke, Franziska Hohmann talks about her childhood with a severely depressed mother - and about how she took on responsibility at an early age, tried to function, suppressed her own story for a long time and almost broke as a result.

With unsparing openness and a lot of love, the author describes how she tried to live in this relationship, became an alcoholic herself and found her way back into life - and despite everything did not lose her mother from her heart. She talks about psychological stress in families, addiction, role models and the long, often lonely path to self-care.

Franziska Hohmann is at home in the international music and media industry. As a PR manager, she has been placing stars such as Sarah Connor, Alphaville, Adel Tawil and Lenny Kravitz on German television for over two decades. Franziska was also not entirely uninvolved in the careers of Madeline Juno Madeline Juno and Florian Künstler. In addition to their music, they share a similar story, which they will talk about together.
