When it's supposed to be festive due to the calendar and we're still rushing off to get presents, organize families, write questionable cards to loved ones far away, quickly knit something and find ecologically sound tinsel, it's time to pause for an hour and spend time with children, friends and art. Time to get into the tik. Here's to a glass of punch, mulled wine or beer and a bit of togetherness.

Candle number 4: Dr. Beatrice Baecker is waiting

at the tik and for the Christ Child to make his proper appearance. The regulatory scientist from Münster/Mecklenbeck is in this establishment for the first time. We would be very surprised if she didn't have one or two critical comments to make.

Dr. Beatrice Baecker is a comical figure from Uli Sallandt's ideas workshop. Uli reconciles opposites with a mischievous smile. On the one hand she is a scientist, on the other she is an actress for clowning and comedy. This year, she and her fellow clown Antje Huck celebrated the premiere of "Metahormosen" at tik. Sometimes you have the chance to attend a workshop led by her at tik. And, who would have thought, it's all about comedy and clowning.
