Take part in our guided tour of the Stiftung Kunstforum Berliner Volksbank and learn more about the exhibition and the works from Christian Thoelke himself. The guided tour takes about an hour, advance booking is not necessary.

Paradise marks the end of the anniversary year of the Kunstforum Berliner Volksbank Foundation. The contemporary artist and curator Christian Thoelke explores cityscapes from the Berliner Volksbank art collection that bear witness to a politically and culturally divided Germany. He juxtaposes them with his own works of abandoned GDR architecture, in which he reflects on the profound changes in his living environment after reunification as well as the conflicts and potentials of social upheaval.
