Take part in the guided tour of the Stiftung Kunstforum Berliner Volksbank and learn more about the exhibition and the works from Christian Thoelke himself. The guided tour lasts about an hour and is included in the admission price. Pre-registration is not necessary.

Paradise marks the end of the anniversary year of the Kunstforum Berliner Volksbank Foundation. Contemporary artist and curator Christian Thoelke explores cityscapes from the Berliner Volksbank art collection that bear witness to a politically and culturally divided Germany. He juxtaposes them with his own works of abandoned GDR architecture, in which he reflects on the profound changes in his living environment after reunification as well as the conflicts and potentials of social upheaval.
