Lecture: Leipzig and its river valleys - new findings from (geo)archaeologically accompanied construction projects on the formation and anthropogenic shaping of the floodplains in the urban area

The brisk construction activity of the last three decades has necessitated numerous archaeological excavations in Leipzig, which were accompanied by the State Office for Archaeology of Saxony. In his lecture, Dr. Christian Tinapp will present the new findings on the urban floodplains and their use that have resulted from these excavations.
