With "Große Kunst", Betterov presents his second album - a polyphonic work about origins, identity and the attempt to locate oneself between village and big city, past and present, external image and self-worth. Musically, the album moves between indie, dark wave, orchestral melancholy and anthemic grandeur. Lyrically, Betterov goes where it hurts - and where it suddenly gets warm again: Childhood memories, fleeing the republic, family silence, political mistrust, belonging and self-assertion.

Having become famous with "OLYMPIA" and celebrated for his clever language and great emotionality, Betterov shows himself to be more mature, uncompromising - and more approachable than ever on "Große Kunst". Between piano, string pads and bass-heavy intimacy, a sound emerges that stands firmly in the now and yet looks back - to a life that cannot be erased, but continues to resonate.
