The new film by Italian director Alice Rohrwacher tells the story of an ex-archaeologist who helps a gang of Tuscan grave robbers. Their common goal: to find Etruscan burial chambers containing ancient treasures and archaeological artifacts. Rohrwacher succeeds in creating an unconventional, sophisticated mixture of drama, comedy, romance and mystery.
