Accompanied by his trio - Felix Weigt on double bass, Luca Marini on drums and Lambert himself on piano - the artist invites you on these evenings to an extraordinary encounter that is all about friendship.
One might assume that solo artists like Lambert tend to be solitary - but far from it!
Since the beginning of his career, Lambert has consistently relied on collaboration to counteract isolation. This urge to exchange ideas was evident early on in numerous reworks for colleagues from rap, indie and techno - including Deichkind, Trettmann, José González, Moderat, Marteria, Cro, Tocotronic, Ólafur Arnalds and Boy.
He later produced cross-genre albums, for example with the US songwriter Dekker or the electronic sound inventor Stimming. In addition to his own releases and numerous film scores, Lambert has also worked on productions by Fatoni, Goodwin, Maeckes, Anna Ternheim and Bartek in recent years.
Now it was high time to get the personal phone book out of the mahogany secretary and dust it off.
"Lambert & Friends" is no ordinary concert - it is a tribute to the power of togetherness and the magic that arises when different musical worlds come together.
