Assault on Precint 13

Violence reigns on the streets of Los Angeles. One night, an abandoned police station and an unequal fight for survival. The film "Assault on Precinct 13" stands for two things above all: minimalism and uncompromisingness. The dialog, the settings, the music, the lighting - everything is used sparingly but masterfully. The second feature film by the then 28-year-old John Carpenter became a dramaturgical blueprint for many subsequent masterpieces such as "Halloween", "The Rattlesnake", "The Fog" and "The Thing from Another World" and is one of Quentin Tarantino's favorite films.
