laulaa

is a vocal ensemble from Berlin. The five singers - Anne, Fina, Johanna, Linda and Mira - met during their music studies and founded the ensemble in 2022.
The Finnish word laulaa (singing) not only describes the singing itself, but also the power and connection that is created through the music. It stands for the musical telling of stories, the awakening of emotions and the art of uniting people through music. It symbolizes the freedom and ease of using the voice to make the invisible audible.
The ensemble is characterized by its broad repertoire of specially arranged songs, which range in style from pop to jazz to folk. Laulaa does without instruments. In addition to playing with their voices, the five women are interested in pushing the limits of harmonies and combining the complex possibilities of vocal sound production. They are not afraid to take risks and rediscover the versatility and fascination of the voice as an instrument.

that's Tanja Pannier and Matthias Knoche. The duo impress with their extraordinary musicality, technical brilliance and great stage presence.
