During the Leipzig CYCLING NIGHT, we eco-lions get on our bikes with thousands of Leipzig residents. Together we celebrate the start of CITY CYCLING and set an example for a bicycle-friendly city.

You've never been to a CITY CYCLING NIGHT?

Everything flashes, rings and shines when the people of Leipzig gather in Clara Zetkin Park for the CITY CYCLING kick-off and then set off on a joint eleven-kilometer bike ride through Leipzig. Every year, Leipzig's car-free streets are briefly transformed into a sea of bicycles. Including young and old Leipzig residents who pedal for more and better cycling - on streets that are otherwise dominated by car traffic. There is no other bicycle parade of this size in Leipzig.
