Historical tour of the castle and estate on Open Monument Day

The DKB STIFTUNG für gesellschaftliches Engagement invites you to the Autumn of Reading at Schloss & Gut Liebenberg. From September 14, 2025, visitors can expect a literary program that is closely linked to the history of the traditional place.

Schloss & Gut Liebenberg was regularly the scene of German politics - from the visits of Kaiser Wilhelm II to Libertas Schulze-Boysen, who used the estate as a retreat for her family in the resistance against the National Socialists, to the time of the GDR, when Liebenberg became a model estate and resort. A historical tour of the castle and estate takes visitors to the most interesting places, reveals the hidden and draws attention to the historical context.

Afterwards, the tour can be combined with brunch or coffee and cake in the Lindenhaus at Schloss & Gut Liebenberg and a reading with Hanna Caspian at 3 pm.
