During the event, Alexandra Lüthen will read and Peter Gaymann will accompany the reading with live drawings. The combination of reading, drawing, conversation and exchange with the audience will make for an exciting evening. Both will sign copies afterwards.

Information about the book "Nu Jork, Nu Jork!":

About the author Alexandra Lüthen:
Alexandra Lüthen was born in 1977 in Westphalia and lives in Berlin. As a writer and coach, she works with language and people and sometimes also with chickens. She writes novels, short prose and non-fiction, also in simple language, to make literature accessible to everyone. Nu Jork, Nu Jork! is her second illustrated novel. Her texts have won several awards. In addition to writing, she gives workshops and helps people to find their own language. She believes it is wise to believe in miracles because reality is always greater than reality.


About the cartoonist Peter Gaymann:
Peter Gaymann, born in Freiburg in 1950, is one of Germany's best-known cartoonists. He set up his own business as a humorous cartoonist in 1976. Since then, well over 100 books by and with him have been published, including several bestsellers. His characteristic chicken cartoons, identified by the abbreviation P. GAY , are widely used on postcards, calendars and prints, but the chicken universe is also populated by humans and other animals.
