Lesung & Film: Der Schauspieler Willy Fritsch mit anschließender Filmvorführung "Glückskinder" (1936)

He was once one of the most popular stars of German film history in the 1920s and 1930s. City traffic came to a standstill as soon as he appeared anywhere. Even songs were composed in his honor, but today he is almost forgotten: Willy Fritsch.

Heike Goldbach, the author of his biography, introduces the actor in a multimedia reading. Afterwards, the cinema in the Kulturhaus Spandau will show the film "Glückskinder" (1936) with Lilian Harvey and Willy Fritsch. A comedy that even inspired Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino so much that he even sent the evergreen "Ich wollt', ich wär' ein Huhn" around the world as the soundtrack to a scene in one of his films.
