13 books that made Gysi Gysi
Look forward to a special evening with Gregor Gysi and "My life in 13 books" at your Hugendubel branch in Berlin Steglitz.
We all know them. Books and their heroes that accompany us from an early age and never let go. They give us courage, take us on adventures, make us laugh out loud and touch us deeply. Together with journalist Hans-Dieter Schütt, Gregor Gysi goes on a literary exploration tour: "My life in 13 books" tells of the politician and author's very personal reading list.
Find out what a conversation between Gysi and Schiller sounds like, which favorite author connects Churchill and the elder statesman of the left and which rebellious redhead inspires Gysi. A special kind of best-of, in praise of reading, an ode to the printed word: because especially in a world that is spinning ever faster, books give us stability and confidence.
