Jón Atli Jónasson is a multi-award-winning playwright and screenwriter whose work has been shown all over the world. His film "The Deep" was submitted for an Oscar; he is co-author of the series "The Arctic Circle" (ZDF). With the book series about the unlikely investigative duo Dora and Rado, Jónasson conquered the Icelandic bestseller list and achieved his international breakthrough as a writer of suspense. He clearly sees himself in the tradition of Nordic Noir. Jón Atli Jónasson has lived in Berlin for some time and currently lives with his family in Reykjavík.
