Lesung trifft Impro – Der eine liest, der andere spinnt

"Lesung trifft Impro" is an extraordinary mix of prima vista reading and improvisational art - always new, irretrievable and eloquent in the best sense of the word!

Voice actor and actor Dirk Lausch reads everything the audience brings with them from a standing start: the receipt or the self-written love poem, the doctoral thesis in astrophysics, the telephone directory or the Virginia Woolf novel. Thanks to Lausch's distinctive voice and the art of a prima vista reading, everything becomes a spontaneous listening pleasure.

Improv actor and impromptu poet Thomas Jäkel then makes his very own rhyme of what he has heard. He rewrites, writes his own poetry, spins the text further and leads the audience into a different setting and a new story. Unrehearsed and completely improvised, Mr. Jäkel and Mr. Lausch present a uniquely spontaneous form of storytelling in which each performance produces new and unique texts.
