In the organizer's words:

"It's a little bit funny, this feeling inside" ... sings Elton John. And yes, sometimes feelings are strange, confusing or so strong that you don't know what to do with them. And then comes such a wonderful song that hits the nail on the head.

That's one of at least 17 good reasons to sing. Plus: singing is simply fun. And you can experience this from April at the favorite song singing at the Ohlsdorf cemetery.
Wait a minute: cemetery? Yes, exactly, because Ohlsdorf cemetery is not just a cemetery, but also a park, a piece of the district. Here you can take a short break after a busy day, there is peace and quiet and space for beautiful and quirky songs, for small and big feelings.

Singer and songwriter Mica Schrader has great songs to sing along to. Whether exuberant, casual or thoughtful, you can leave everyday life behind you for an hour, sing along and leave with a little grin in your heart afterwards.

Favorite Song Singing starts on 7 April and then takes place every first Tuesday of the month. Song requests can be submitted in advance by email or on the Lieblingslieder-singen website!
