THE TRUMAN SHOW [LOST in MEDIA?]

Born into a television show. Even 28 years later, the film still exerts an uncanny fascination with topics such as surveillance and media realities, especially with regard to the Internet and the smartphone.

The LOST in MEDIA film series uses 6 films of different genres to question our media consumption and the effects it has on us and society. The films focus on different aspects: Constant, unknowing observation - surveillance - staging and authenticity - self-perception - external perception - identity - AI and our own emotional world - media sensory overload and the increasing importance of interpersonal relationships.
