LINDEN JAZZ SESSION

In the organizer's words:

Since 2005, the Linden Jazzsession has been held regularly
and reliably on almost every Thursday at the Kulturpalast.

During this time, well over 400 bands from Hanover,
Lower Saxony and the whole of Germany have played at the Linden Jazzsessions.
The jazz session in the Kulturpalast is a place for networking between long-established
and musicians who have just arrived in the city. It is both a playground and a laboratory
for newly formed bands - a place to try out musical concepts.
However, the session is also a supra-regional meeting point and a kind of contact exchange
for the North German scene and, above all, an important meeting place for the students of the
for the students of the Jazz Institute at the University of Music.
Linden Jazzsessions is a project of the JMI Hannover, which is organized in cooperation with students
of the HMTMH and the Kulturpalast Linden on a voluntary basis.
