🎵 LIVE AT FERMAC's on 15.05.2025: ALTERNATIVE WAYS on Stage - Support: About to Break 🎵

The last note of the intro fades out, the lights darken, fog rolls in and Alternative Ways enter the stage.
With the band's first beat together, a journey begins for everyone present, guided by a sound and an expressiveness that takes the audience into their own heads and lets them experience all their emotions.
The four instrumentalists Pascal Schopp, Paul Dupont, Jannik Geiß and Matthias Hill have come together over the years to fuse their musical backgrounds of metal, rock, progressive, funk and jazz into something new.
The result is a partly dramatic and poignant, partly relaxed and even humorous take on modern progressive metal. Complex rhythms, unconventional song structures, spontaneous genre changes and a strong focus on using these stylistic devices to tell a story. With Alternative Ways, the lack of lyrics only means more freedom in the interpretation of the stories that the songs carry and transport.
In addition to the musical aspects, the band is also committed to supporting the LGBTQ+ community as well as mental health awareness and suicide prevention. With their music, their community and their general presence on social media and live at their concerts, their aim is to offer a safe space to all those who struggle with or for themselves on a daily basis.
