Simple language: We are having a concert. There are 3 bands playing. The bands are all from Hessen.

Marburg Calling is back again! We have not been idle and have exciting acts for you again.
Look forward to an evening of groovy post-rock. With us are: CATCØRE, LDMR and Caraleidoscope.

CATCØRE:
CATCØRE's music sounds like Amy Winehouse was stuck down the rabbit hole of Alice in Wonderland with Nine Inch Nails. As if crouching in the depths of the scratching post, they observe and tell of human madness and driven existence in a broken world. When you listen to CATCØRE, you are sucked into a powerful maelstrom of powerful bass lines, melodic drums, entwining vocals and soaring guitars. You are swept along by this maelstrom, seduced, tossed around, spat out at the end and still want to keep dancing. It all sounds dark, dramatic, melancholically beautiful and above all - new.

LDMR:
The post/ambient ensemble LDMR balances between floating carpets of sound, pulsating melodies and distortion-heavy noise. Their attention to detail and meticulous arrangements leave no room for platitudes or a catchy chorus. The outstanding quality of LDMR lies in their convincing live shows. Here, the compositions invite you to a meditative moment with a potential beer shower in the here and now. Comparisons to "Explosions in the Sky" or "Mono" come to mind, only to be dismissed again by LDMR. Giving free rein to their thoughts on the instrument regardless of genre and finding a symbiosis between their four heads - the band has been writing their songs with this principle in mind for 10 years now.

Caraleidoscope:

Melancholic and sombre, then loud and demanding, the band Caraleidoscope explores musical boundaries. The catchy melodies of singer Cara, whose voice captivates with its unerring border crossings and raw authenticity, unfold over a mesh of handmade sounds from the playful instrumentalists. True to their namesake - the kaleidoscope - the band promises changing and surprisingly twisting songs in the sound field of rock, always interspersed with different musical influences.
